About Us
Our Ethos
We strive to create a welcoming, safe “third space” for tabletop roleplayers. Here’s what we mean when we say that:
- We believe you when you tell us who you are.
- We will not reject or discriminate against anyone based on gender, race, place of origin, religion, or the like. Furthermore, we will refuse entry to anyone who does.
- We will be as accommodating as possible to every shape and size of gamer, which includes listening to and working with folks’ accessibility needs.
- We refuse to make use of, and forbid the presence of generative AI technology and anything created with it.
Our Team
- Orrery Golden (they/them or she/her) has been roleplaying for four decades, both in front of the screen and behind it. As an experienced storyteller and GM, they have a keen understanding of what it takes to run a great game. They’re also a seasoned writer with a fondness for magic.
- Electric Keet (they/them) – Keet for short – has been roleplaying for over three decades, as well as supplying Orrery with custom-designed player handouts and other game artifacts. When not at the table, they’re usually working on electronic music (chiptunes!) or graphic design projects… or playing very old videogames.
- Elluim (he/him or they/them) – Ellu for short – has been roleplaying through the Internet and across the table for well over two decades. He draws from an eclectic history in ecology, biology, magic, and myth-making, to inspire the beautifully strange.
- Burgeon (he/him or they/them) started forum roleplay during dial-up days and it was a quick trip to the tabletop for dice games. He likes to surprise and dazzle seasoned players with his antics, and themes of language, power, and environment scaffold his worldbuilding and gameplay. When not doing goofy voices, Burgeon is a painter, among other things.
